sat was cold and windy at times, water temp by the dam was 56 degrees, way back at the inlet side it was 48 degrees, we tried bottom bouncing, trooling shallow and deep cranks, jigging with spoons and jigs tipped with worms, fished sat and sunday, sun was a bit warmer, with sunshine still only caught one big 10 lb carp on a crank bait, he was snagged so he must've come up to look at it and got hooked. saw lots of fish on the fish finder in the 15 to 30 ft areas, saw lots of what looked like balls of baitfish on the fishfinder, starting to see more shad dying and floating on the water, just couldn't get anything to bite, tried pretty much all sides of the lake to not much avail, saw some people catch a couple of trout, nothing big though... lots of people out there fishing on sun, not too much boat traffic on sat.
