Hey Granby fishermen--

Did any of you see some guy on Granby Saturday in the water with what appeared to be something like a semi-rigid bright blue paraglider? We stopped along the main highway that runs between Grand Lake and Granby about 1:00 and watched some guy struggling in the water with this contraption. Couldn't tell if he was trying to catch the wind with it or what. I assume he had a wetsuit on. We ate our sandwiches and watched this guy fighting the contraption for at least half an hour. Couldn't tell for sure but it looked like he might have had water skis on, too.

Did anybody else see it? Do you know what it was?

It was probably a wake board.. its a pretty popular way of wake boarding on some coastal states, or states with large waters and good wind currents.

Thanks ePic--

I've been surfing the web and I think it was someone kitesurfing. The frame clearly floated and I'm guessing it was inflatable. I had never heard of kitesurfing before tonight.

Here's one of the sites that describes kitesurfing: http://kitesurfingschool.org/

Has anybody else encountered this?
