What a great day at the lake! My buddy and I got there at 5:30 and stayed till 10:30 this morning. We fished 5 inch watermelon Yum Dingers in the back cove.
I landed 25 bass and probably lost another half dozen or so. My buddy landed 17. All in all 42 bass in 5 hours! Biggest was just under 4 pounds.

You know, I don't know if they're spawning yet or not. I didn't see any sitting over any beds. When we waded out into the water they were swimming all around us some as close as a couple of feet.
I think though that they are probably moving in shallow to spawn.
