I went out in the belly boat from about 6:00-8:45 searching for trout - the same midges I was using months ago killin' em there didn't produce anything. Wolly Buggers produced nothing. Maybe a couple nibbles from perch. Overall very slow. Were any of you guys in the group fishing together out in the middle? I saw a few of them catch one every now and then - more like every hour and then.

This is why I'm not very good at fly fishing... If I do good with something I keep trying to use it and then I do bad. Atleast you were able to get out and enjoy the time fishing, I have been so busy lately that I havent made it even to the local spots.

Wen I was there on the 11th, a guy said he was doing well near the bubbles drop shotting a dark plastic worm, I tried with no luck, but maybe it's worth a shot
