·Hey everyone.
I love Quincy reservoir. Today (3/6) I was planning on getting there around 7:00, but I accidentally slept in. I got to the lake around 11:00 and started fishing with my trusty Blue Fox (pink and blue) from the dam. I had a few trout follow it in, but no takers. I moed around trying various spinners with no success. I hiked around, but I just couldn't find the fish. Finally I decided to head back by the am. I tied on a green-speckled, salt-covered Strike King tube jig and began fishing. Immediately I caught two trout. Onne was 14 inches and the other was 12. The after a bit I hooked up with another pretty trout about 14 inches long. I decided to give it one more caast and hooked up with a big 22 inch fatty. I was using a jig, reel one turn, jig jig, reel one turn retrieval and the trout seemed to like it. The time was about 2:00 and the sun was clightly covered by some light clouds. As always I released everything, but I took pictures so when I get them developed I'll post them somewhere.
Good luck everyone!
