My son and I went to Quincy this morning. The water was too calm, just
like glass. We trolled around for awhile, got a couple of hits. Tried throwing
spinnerbaits in the coves, nothing. It got a little windy at 9:00 a.m. and the
fishing improved. We caught a few stocker rainbows and a perch. I caught
a good sized rainbow trolling a Rapala Countdown 7 in rainbow trout color.
It was in the 1-2 lb. range. The stockers were caught on a panther martin
in brown trout color. Kind of slow, but it sure beats the honey do list!

I saw about 10 boats, 15 people on shore, and about 10
pontoons and belly boats. Lots of room to fish without
feeling crowded. Not too bad for a weekend!

Went to Quincy friday afternoon. First time. Fished west side and the most northwest cove. Got tons of bites on tubes, jigs, buzzbaits & spinnerbaits. Ended up catching 2 purdy good sized LM's. Overall a great way to spend a friday afternoon.
Hopefully the pics work.
