I went to Quincy twice this past week, saw 6 cars and 4 fishermen (total for both days) all fishing from shore (north side below parking), didn't get
to check the east bay (bad back), but nobody visible around the shorelines
and no boats. Suppose the DOW rules & regs are having that much impact this soon - hope so !! Drove by Sprat-Platte this AM about 10:30. Three cars with
one person just walking the shore. No wind, No rain - Strange...

For me they are a blessing. I never could use scented baits successfully. In fact, I don't think I've ever caught anything on one, except for some powerbait that I made into a little powerbait minnow :). For me, the new rules even the playing field cause the only thing I've ever caught anything with in a lake is a spinner and bait. I suck at using any other lure. Saves me a lot of money in Senko's though ;D

I generally agree, but, if we are going to profit from the new rules, please, let's be sure we abide by them. "legal" baits are available from all-over. Creek Critters, Maniac, crappie pro, etc. I have everythng except "tubes". BTW. I guess everyone may not be familiar with "Wacky rigging".
For the rubber waist-band, surgical tubing works great , specifically - it can be dyed to "spike-it" colors. Just FYI.. anyone fished Stearns ( west of Broomfield)
this year. HAVE A GREAT EASTER!!!
