Hiked down to Rainbow Cove; so many people out and about. Managed to catch 2 rainbows, 12 and 13 inches on a March Brown spinner and a Black Gnat spinner. Light wind, sunny, 60+ degrees = beautiful day to be alive and outdoors!

Trail completely dry with exception of 2 small icy areas that should be gone in the next few days. Apparently, people let their dogs **** a lot on the trail, inconsiderate asses that they are.

Looks like I'll head up that way Friday or Saturday. Maybe get a rainbow or two. I need the eggs for laker excursions in may or June.

This weekend is supposed to be a bit cooler; high of 49/low of 31. May make for some better fishing, though. I prefer cooler to sunny and hot and not a cloud in the sky.
