I hope this works! I am sending three pictures of the wipers caught at Douglas lake on June 2004. One weighed 9.2 lbs and it was 29" long. The other two weighed 10 lbs 11.2 oz's. These fish were both 30+" long.

Couldn't notice but in the bottom picture the stringer was open on one of the wipers.  I hope you didn't lose him!

How far out did you have to wade and what were you using for bait?   :)
Right of the shoreline, cast about 30-40yards out,I used some sunfish and bluegills as bait. Some of them put up a twenty+ minutes fight.outch sore arm.

Nice wipers Elvis! I've heard the wiper bite is going strong at Douglas right now.
Here's a picture of a 12lb. 3oz. fish I caught last Sunday at Aurora. The picture doesn't really show it but it's the fattest one I've ever seen.

I went to Douglas a couple of weeks ago with a bucket of minnows and I couldn't even buy a bite!!!! Well, okay. I did get one bite that I think was a Wipey. My float was just sitting there, then it just vanished! Didn't get it hooked tho.

That's IT! I'm trading in ALL of my catfishing stuff for wiper gear! They get that big!? That's insane. I can't even catch catfish that big consecutively!

Or carp either! Maybe I can get some 25's once in a while, but there are people here consecutively catching wiper over 10 lbs. And you can't eat carp!

There's a place in Omaha, Neb. called Joe Tess's. They serve excellent carp. I Know from experience, it's real good, honest.
