I would offer the following changes to that thread for this time of year: do not fish directly in the deep channel, there are nice big trout hanging outside the edges of the channel in 6-8 ft. of water. The edges of the channel are indicated by the direction of the concrete wings extending outward from the pump house structure.

The trout will be in the deep channel in a month or so, right now they are cruising around outside it.
