has anyone used red meal worms? If so did they work any better than the regular ones?

I've tried them and no luck... But I know people who swear by them, I'll stick to waxies.

The guys fishing next to me last weekend at 11 mi. were using red mealies. They were doing real good with them. Iced a 21 in. koke in 9 fow, and several large bows close to 20 in. I like using them more than the regular kind at lakes that get a lot of pressure.

i personally have had better luck using the red mealworms, though i'm allergic to them i don't know if it is just the dye in the red ones or if i'm allergic to all of them. that was all we used to buy was the red ones, they also seemed to not get mushy so quick also.

I'd agree, if you're fishing meal worms, red is the way to go! Especially if you clip the end, and let the pink oooze out.
