Iceintheveins, my dad, and I fished rifle today from our boat. In probably 5 hours of fishing (would've been more, but horrible storms and wind), we caught 10 pike. I caught 5, ice caught 4 and my dad caught 1. my dad also lost a small pike. I lost 5 other pike and ice caught all he hooked. I also lost a big smallie (2 pounds plus) near the boat. The pike landed were fairly small (15-20"). I had a very large one slurp up a fluke that I missed, and I had one about 32" bite off near the boat (but we got the lure back!!!), and I also had one in the low 40" range follow it to the boat but it didn't hit. Caught fish on x-raps (I can't believe it, this was the best lure. First fish I've caught on em!!!), jointed bomber long a's, buzzbaits, flukes, and panther martins. All pike were released to be caught another day.

Sounds like a busy day, the wind has been horrible everywhere lately. Good Job.
