Hey guys. My grandpa was a member of river cliff fishing club in Colorado back in the 50's and 60's I think. I think the river was the Platte. It was located within an hour of Denver I think. I live in new Orleans and I am just looking for any info I can find. Has anyone ever heard of river cliff? Any ideas on the location? Coordinates? All I have heard were stories about the place from my dad and I just want to see some more info. Thank you
I grew up on this property. The Rivercliffe Lodge was my childhood home. Clarence Button ran it as a fishing lodge in the 50's and 60s, likely when your grandpa visited. We purchased it as our family home in 1971. I was never a public fishing lodge after Button owned it. 4.5 miles down Park County Road 68 in a meadow opening called Estabrook.
