Went to the Roaring Fork (upper Woody's Creek Canyon area) for a couple of hours today. Sorry for the poor picture quality, but all I had was my phone....

Here's how I did:

First catch:

Second

And this guy finished off the day:

All three were caught on a size 18 beaded prince using my three weight rod. All three were lip hooked and released alive.

SWEET BOWS! I was up there last weekend between Carbondale and Glenwood and had a pretty good time between snow storms! They wanted black midges when the whiteout cleared. ha! Should be on fire when the weather warms up................ ;)

The fork is a great fishery for mid-sized rainbows and browns. What were the sizes of those? 14"?

Yeah - about 14 to 15. Good fighters though, especially on my 3wt!

Of course - I gotta make it look good don't I? That's why I turned it upside down on the last one!! Seriously though, they were all three pretty close to the same size. Overall it was a pretty cool day - Jammin with my MP3 player while I was on the river. Catching fish - and then I went out for ribs that evening!!! ;D
