My friend just bought one of these rods and he let me try it out the other day.  That rod is AMAZING.  I was able to feel ever tick and nudge of anything on the bottom(yep that was a rock, and that was a pebble, and that felt like my lure I lost, and yep I can tell dinner is swimmin near by).  This was all with a 1/16 oz. jighead, and the wind was blowing too.  The rods are made on an IM-9 graphite blank.  I'm just going to have to get one now, just have to figure out a way to convince the wife I NEED another rod.  If anyone else has tried these rods I'd like to hear what you think.

Crucial rods are the best rods in their price point, period.
What's the average retail price range on these Shimano Crucials? I always looked at the Convergence line of rods, but never go to buy one, too.
