RD, my dad stayed at the KOA which is on the north side of the lake about 2-3 miles east of the Elk Creek Campground... he loved that place, it's almost as close as Elk Creek and he said the showering facility is great... just a thought. I am leaving to BM Thursday for 4 days!!!!

You can definitely tie up at the dock for food... You can also leave your boat there for about $15 a night.
