Ive been fishing a long time and caught quite a few fish but over the weekend I was sight fishing in a spring creek (to remain name less as to protect the fish ;)) and looked in the water and lo and behold there was a blue fish about the color of a pepsi can. all the other fish were black/dark like trout always are. so I cast to it and It took the fly so when I netted it It looked like a trout mostly but was solid silver with 1 black spot on its side. I've asked around a no one has any idea what it is or mabey they don't believe me. I do have a wittness so I know its not my imaganation, any ideas? any thoughts are welcome

I visited the trout hatchery near Rifle Gap last year and noticed several blue trout in the hatchery feeding areas.  The folks there said that they get about 2 blue looking trout out of every million hatched.
