it is that time of year again, so I decided to get up at 330 in the morning to go check out my favorite lake to see if my 2nd favorite species of fish were starting to do their thing for the autumn.... i met up with 2 of my buddies in the hardcore scene in the parking lot, and we went up to the lake to give it a shot..... saw hundreds of cutbows of all sizes cruising, and they were baitstealing assholes. caught countless ones, and one smaller laker, that i kept for the dinner table.

also and I'm sure this will get this thread a nice injection of drama from the junkie crew who are in love with me.... I will tell of another event that transpired before it manifests itself on fxe because the guilty party was more than likely a member of that site. my friends and i, although we were catching dinks... we were having fun, being obnoxious and talking. while doing so, an older guy pulled up and walked around the bay, and fished right by us.... not realizing that he had a whole entire lake that was empty to fish. we didn't mind and continued talking, and halfway through the conversation he looks at us and yells "HEY DO YOU MIND KEEPING IT DOWN, IM TRYING TO FISH HERE, YOU ARE BEING TOO LOUD". I look at the guy and say nicely... "no. worry about yourself." at that moment he says "then cut out the profanity and watch your language"... i replied to him, telling him "yeah... we were here first, waaaay before you. don't come fishing right by us and telling me how i need to fucking talk.. or else we are going to have a problem". at that point, my friends and i decided to exaggerate the vulgarity while looking at him... until the guy finally throws his arms in the air, packs his **** up and goes back to his truck. lesson learned: don't crowd people and be a dick. I'm sure the rest of this report will be ignored because yall are like worldstarhiphop with how much you love drama.. but who cares?


we catch a few more fish, enjoy the sights of a few blimps that cruised by.... and then left. they went to fairplay and I went to breakfast. after breakfast, i decided to go see the south park bimbo. i packed some waders and fished the north shore... fishing was slow, but i managed 2 bo's that were about 16-17 inches, and lost 3 more. water is still really warm at both lakes, and surprisingly... not windy at all., which explained the slow fishing for lake trout.... so i'm going to go back after a few cold snaps.

all fish caught were on 2 inch white tubes, 1/8 oz jigheads and halved shiners.

by the way, the fall colors were radiant. i enjoyed the drive around south park alot. kenosha pass was a zoo this afternoon.

tomorrow... back to middle park, with kiddo in tow. should be a fun one. we need a good cold snap though....

i don't give a damn if you are jesus christ.. you fish on top of people and scream for them to be quiet, you deserve to get screamed at and ran off the lake. the guy wasn't an elder... he was probably 40.
