Hit Spinney again today. Gotta love that lake. No wind to speak of until 3PM. Not too many bugs out, but the fish were still hitting. Fun day meeting some other guys on their toons. Ended up catching 19 trout and 8 pike..missed a few. The pike were basically 18/24 inchers...except for one that snipped me off at the toon....6 lb test casting for trout. He would have went 36/37 or so.

A double..Now that was an interesting landing experience.

Nice Dave. There sure are some greedy pig trout in that lake!

So true..There are some pigs this year..and they fight like a son of a gun.

Water temps were 65 before this heat wave, only gonna get warmer. Anyone heading up that way should be aware and take the time to revive their fish before releasing.
