Well, got my a$$ whupped by South Park again. Fished Spinney Sunday morning. Got on the water around 7. Light wind and about a 1 foot chop. Trolled near the boat ramp and the dam for a couple hours. Got one trout pretty quick on a gold and rainbow kastmaster in about 10 feet of water. Marked a few fish, all between 8 and 12 feet of water, most fish right on the bottom. Headed toward the dam and got another trout on a crawdad colored crankbait. Both fish were around 16". Then the wind kicked up and literally blew us off the lake. Pretty interesting scene at the boat ramp. Waves were thrashing people pretty good, especially those of us in smaller vessels. Ah well, at least there was no skunk.

I saw the same scene at the boatdock about 3 weekends ago. I thought for sure someone would drown that day. Last year, the park put in those bouys for a breakwater- made a lot of difference but I see they are still out on the bank. Wonder why?
