SPINNEY MOUNTAIN STATE PARK IS SCHEDULE TO OPEN ON APRIL 1, 2018 AT 6:17 A.M. No one will be there to sell Park Passes like in past years, so please plan ahead and come with exact change for a Daily Pass or a personal check.

As in previous years, vehicles will not be allowed to line up at the entrance gate until after 7:00 p.m. on March 31, 2018, in order to allow staff to complete the final preparations for opening day.

It may not be as crowded as usual because it's Easter. Lots of people may want to spend time in church, with family and hiding eggs for the kids and grand kids.We have a family brunch to go to at 11:00 so that takes care of that. Seems like Monday would have been a better choice to open and also to finish what ever preparation they needed to complete before opening.
