Going to make a run up there Saturday and see if we can get some of the big boys to come out and play.
Should have a little wind chop and cloud cover which should make the fishing pretty good.
If you see me up there promise not to laugh at us fishing for trout in a bass boat.

Hey Hammer- me and a bud are heading to spinney tomorrow also.We are hiking in to the west side by the bluff. 2 men and a dog. What color boat?

It's a Ranger black and silver.
The bluffs are good for tubes, I'm sure we'll be over there.

I was up there on tuesday ...I spent most of my time on the Dream Stream but we did see some nice fishing cruising the shoreline at spinney I had one follow up a mr. twister then my cousin screamed bloody murder from falling off the rocks and scared my fish off.

Me and the wife will be there too. We will be in a "Spectrum" aluminum boat w/ black/blue and pink stripes on the sides, (totally 80's but it runs good). We will be checking out the coves looking for some pike dinner. We should have our yellow jackets on since the high is only going to be 45 degrees w/ a good chance of rain/snow. yes it does. no ice fishing. date varies, but is usually in november, from what i can recall...normally mid-november i think

So there's no way of knowing which day?

it depends on when ice starts to form up there. keep an eye on the state park website for spinneyhttp://www.parks.state.co.us/default.asp?parkID=95&action=park if there isn't anything mentioned about it being closed for the winter, it is still open..
