Arrived at Spinney at 7am, on the way there I saw 3 overturned semi's just outside of Fairplay, evidence I suppose of the extremely high winds that can blast South Park! It was a little slow in the morning, cold wind causing some chop on the water, just right for indicator fishing, however I couldn't get a hit on a beadhead prince for nothing! Switched to what worked for me last year, a brown conehead bugger, and Bingo 2 nice bows pushing 20" (didn't measure). Slow for the most part with a few smaller ones till 1:30 and thats when I caught the majority of them, all bows, caught some on a home-tied black beadhead, then switched up to the trusty conehead bugger and caught several more 18"-20" bows. Wind blew all day, it really beat me up, I left around 3pm. Good day. I love South Park! ;)
