good action on flies under the bobber-hares ears,zebra midges.lots of midges hatching to the point that if the wind isn't blowing they are all in your face. can hear the buzz from out in your boat when its quiet. also threw lures and did well on thomas buoyants. got 2 over 20" a few at 19" and a couple that parted 5# tippit pretty easily. one guy i talked to said he had the biggest trout of his life landed on friday on an egg pattern.said it probably went 10LBs. the wind was kind and didn't blow hard until noon. no callabaetis yet.soon though.
heading to Africa for a couple of weeks. Hope to fish 1/2 day there if things work out. not a fishing trip but will see what i can arrange.
