It was so nice today, I just had to get out. The toon was already in the truck and a little more than an hour later I was fishing. It was a great day...should have remembered sunscreen. But once again, I had a blast.

Water temps a bit warmer today at 54 degrees..fish still in three to four feet of water...twenty feet from shore. Ended up catching seven and missing a few..Crappy pics again..all fish released.

You said water temp was around 54 degrees huh.... on Friday @ chatty the water was between 51-55 degrees.... Hmmmm.... i gotta get out and do some catting Soon!! And I thought it was still a bit early in the season.

Not so much in this case. Hit..set the hook and straight into the death roll all the way in..One slimmed my line three feet up while rolling and when I ran my finger up the line to clean it off..had to have had a wad of slime the size of a quarter on my fingers.
