I’ve been hitting a pond trying to get some big bass. The last couple weeks I’ve just been getting small ones but its nice to get out. I fished yesterday and got one on a storm arashi silent Squarebill. Then, I foul hooked a really cool looking mirror carp. For a millisecond, I thought I had that 6lb bass. Then, I realized there was no way in hell it was a bass.

I plan on getting out tonight to fish for a bit but I have to get some stuff done first.

Never thought I'd hear "pretty" and "carp" in the same sentence but yeah, cool looking fish!

Went back for a couple hours and got three more. There were a bunch of people there and I was the only one who I saw catch anything. They all wanted to know what I was using. Thinking about going after eyes in the bright moon tonight....we’ll see!!!
