It is a new rod series built over seas for St. Croix. The guys at Sportsmans said it is their way of introducing a modust priced series of rods built with the same quality components. I picked up a Medium action 61/2' spinnig rod last night for only $60.00 and it seems to be about the same quality as the three Premier's I have. Oh well, you can never have to many rods It still comes with 5 year St. Croix warranty also!

St. Croix makes great rods and their waranties are awesome. My wife broke my custom 9'- 3 weight, St. Croix and it was replaced no ?'s asked. I'll have to try one of the new ones! Do they make a light action 8'or 9' that would work for deadsticking?

my girlfriend has 2 st croix 7 footer's and she loves them, i was actually thinking about stepping up to one this year.
