I wanted to see if the ice is off on St Mary’s Glacier lake or Loch Lomond? Also is there a site/app that might stay up to date on ice outs for the alpine lakes/ponds.

Not the least bit helpful! New member is simply looking for some advice from anyone who might know an answer to his/her question.

Here we are two weeks later and no one gave the new member any helpful information. The best way for them to have found out the conditions, would have been to go for a nice walk in the woods and find out themselves.

If it helps any, the Forest Service does not open the road to Lock Lomond until July 15, and closes it again on October 15, due to snow.
