Has anyone been up there lately or live near by? I'm wanting to get after some pike but wasn't sure if i can get to shore with the water being lowered or if it's just a mud pit around the edges?

Most of the inlet end is muddy, but there is still a few points to go out on. The plan was to drain it 15ft total, back on sep 9 they had already drawn it down 12' so the steeper banks should be dried out. I have not been by in two weeks or so but the algae/turnover was still pretty bad then.

Thanks for the info! I was worried I'd have to wade through mud to do any fishing.

The algae blooms are usually quite bad till mid October and sometimes later. I would hit Williams Fork, Elkhead, or the Yampa instead.
