It has been a couple of months since my fishing boat has been on the water, so decided to get out this weekend and enjoy the nice weather.
A little cold on the way up, the day turned out great. We saw 19* driving up Saturday morning, but it was nearly 50* when we got off the lake. Water temp was 45*, and the Rangers will do the ANS inspection if you get there between 8 - 4. I had my seal in place, so we were good to get on the water a little after 700 (just after sunrise).
It was a beautiful day. No clouds, very little breeze. Not much snow up there for this time of year, but I am sure it is coming.
Both the fishing and catching were great. Love the colors of the fish this time of year.
