My buddy and I hit Grand Mesa Mid-week last week! We were up at about 9,800 feet and the ice was still a solid 2 feet and no slush! This was by the inlet of the lake we were fishing...Probably a lot thicker as you go away from it.

Got into some nice multi-species action...Rainbow Trout, Brook Trout, and White Suckers...My buddy kept the brookies and we also kept the suckers too for some lake trout food! Really nice weather with a little bit of wind throughout the day! Got some nice drone footage of the area as well:thumb:

All my photos I have seem to exceed the size limit for uploads. Sorry no pics:(
