Biked and hiked to Strontia this monday.  8 mile bike,1 mile hike.Arrived at lake  10am,missed first couple hits on a silver bouyant,Finally caught an 11" browny:



Caught 2 bo's on 3" white twister tail about 13"ers. Had a couple more hits but didnt hook up.  Heres a couple pics of the lake:

sounds like a full day, nice fish. where is strontia springs????

is the bike hide a lot of uphill?

o and by the way your forgot to include your longitude and latitude of your exact fishing spot

Did you try tube jigs by any chance? I've been wanting to get up there and toss a few.
Man, you fish more that anyone I know. Do you work?

Yes,Ido have a job! I work 9.5 hour days meaning I get every other monday off besides my normal saturday and sunday.I also get 12 paid holidays per year. I also get 4 weeks of vacation per year.When I'm not working,I'm fishing.It's about the only thing that interests me anymore.

Looks like a nice day for a bike ride, and an even better day for fishin, I love it when they slam the hardware!!!
