I went to a small pond in Littleton today to fish for bass.
I caught two decent ones by dead-sticking a senko under
a float. I got another bite and set the hook. It felt much
bigger. The closer I got, I could see that it was a rainbow.
It had to be about 22" with a hooked jaw ;D. I took a
photo with my camera phone. I'll try to send it. Nice Surprise!

I would normally give you the location if it were a large
body of water, but I have been sworn to secrecy on
the location of this pond/lake. I mainly wanted to get
the point out that the bite is on and you can catch bass
right now if you have a slow presentation. Once I figure out
how to send the PIC , I will. The quality won't be good because I used a phone camera.

Niner, if you can send me the picture via e-mail I can post it on this thread for you.

I could not agree with you more: Small lake = keep it on the downlow. Big water = can handle much more angling pressure.

You gave some tactic info as well as encouragement...I'm cool with that. But man oh man....we gotta see the fish! ;D
