Went to big mac yesterday and the wind was blowing. Tried to fish for two hours with no nibble no nothing. Packed up and went to sutherland. My buddy's first cast = fish on. The fishing was pretty much none stop. Good time.

nice fish, how far is sutterland from lake mac ? , also whats the limits there it looks like you got yours ;D

Sutherland is about 30-40mins from big mac. Actually we didnt catch the limit. The guy in the pic is a beginner and he only caught a couple fish. Me and my other buddy caught most of the fish. 10 cats per person and 15 wipers under 18' per person is the limit. The only reason why we didnt limit was cause my buddy had to work at 12 today so we had to get back.

LOL not me we split the fishys into 3 and i gave all mines to my mom. Only thing i cleaned was my car and that was enough.

Not close we caught 19 wipers and 17 cats. If we didnt have to go home limit would of been easy. We also wasted 2-3 hours fishing in the wind at big mac.

Nice work!  How big is Sutterland, any boat restrictions and can you camp there?

Yup u can camp there. I see boats on the water. Not really big, just nice size late. Beware of the biting flies, they are angry.LOL

HookNLine, you have the Nebraska fishing nailed down. Even when I lived there I dont think I did as good as you and I was at the lakes every chance I got.

Thanks epic. Pops use to take me all the time when i was a youngster, so i can't take all the credit. I have learned some new tricks on my own in the last couple years fishing on my own also.
