Me and the wife had a day to ourselfs so we hitt up Tarryall what a day, on the ice about 830 with 8" of ice. No more and got the hut sat up and wife got a fish. Dang haven't even got a pole in the water yet. Day was great nice weather tons of hits and misses. Ended up catching 20 fish in about 3hrs useing orange tubes. Ice was making tons of noise at times I even puckered lol.

We hit Tarryall last year and the whole lake was singing (and I mean continuous squealing) for more than 3 hours. We had a fun day icing trout and our friend, who is a sound engineer, was planning on bringing up his 4 track and some hydrophones - just wanted to record the sound that lake makes - just sounds so cool.

Glad to hear you had a nice day. Any snow on the ice?

Pretty much no snow on the ice was slick even with cleats on. That would be cool to get that sound recorded I tryed with my phone but just doesn't do the job. Would be a cool ring tone.
