A while back I asked you guys about the best bait casting reels for small baits, and the Core 50 got a lot of play, and I now know why. Just happen to go to Bass Pro the other night, and got one of these amazing reels in my hand and couldn't believe not only the small size, but the overall smoothness of this reel, but holding it in a store and actually using it...... So I took a ride with my brother to the S. Platte just to play, and couldn't believe how perfect this reel performed. Took a little getting use to, but after that, it was like a part of my hand.
So I just want to thank all of you who recommended this find, quality reel. While the price may knock your d__k in the dirt, the performance is well worth the price.

They are nice reels! Glad you like it. I have one and I use it mostly for tubes and senkos.
Curado 50 is pretty much the same but alum and not mag like the core.
You should try a daiwa pixy for ultralight baits! Sol is also a great reel for the $$.
Rv they can be had for 280-300 if that helps.
