Went to the Gunny yesterday. Weather was awesome. 55+ degrees sunny and a little breeze.

Started around 1200 and fished til 1530. Had probably 12 hook-ups and managed to get 5 to the net. One was foul hooked with my leech pattern, 1 on a olive midge emerger and the rest on gold ribbed hare's ear.

All caught out of faster riffle type of water.

Biggest being A 19 inch bow, smallest 12 inches. Caught two browns, the rest were bow bows. One of the browns was about 14" but SUPER FAT. I would bet that he was about as round as he was long

HAve pics but the photo site I use upgraded and now I am unable to post pics until I get a new 'puter that is compatible to their upgrade.

No problem. Thanks for posting something fishing related. I love to ice fish but it's nice that the weather is warming up. Sounds like a good trip.

My computer is about 10 yrs old. I have been lookin to get a new one but just do not want to spend the $$$$ for it. Rather go fishin.

Will see if I can use another site for you guys to see some fish porn until I get a new 'puter. :smile:

Awesome report. I have a buddy that lives on the Gunny, can't wait to get up there and fish. He's been having luck on small black midges and trout beads. Congrats on the catching

Cochise, i do believe you were down there( roughly the same place I was for this report) more recently but could not find that report...
