Hit Harvey on Saturday, edges are soft. Glad I had the plank. Set up shop and didn't move all day which is odd for perch fishing. Lots of dinks as expected, best was about 12".

Rifle is about 1/4 open water and far from safe, I would not even think about trying to get on without a boat

Rifle has 12 inches of ice and the edges are good. The east end has open water because they are putting so much water in the lake. It is 3 feet from full pool. Fishing was slow for perch but good for crappie and bluegill.

Yep, the bow "fishers" have hurt that lake bad
To say the least! There are still a few big pike in there. Bumped in to a few last year. The year before they seemed nonexistent. Wait until they ruin Harvey this summer. Back to premier mushback fisheries.
