Aaaah, so nice to get back out on the Poudre after two sweltering and laborious weeks in Phoenix, AZ. Man, I don't know how people live there. Sure it's mild in the winter, but 9 months of blazing heat? No fricking thanks. Got out yesterday morning and hit a couple of spots that I know and love. At the first hole I caught multiple bows in the 10-12 inch range and then hooked into a piggie which broke me off before I even knew what the hell was going on. I knew that one of my connections was bad, but was too lazy to re tie. Don't ya hate that? ;D Anyway, I continued down to another spot and the fish were ready and willing and I did manage to hook and land two very beautiful bows which were around 16inches. The colors were spectacular and it is a shame I am such a crappy photographer. Here are a couple of pictures of the two nice ones. The others were pretty too, but I was having so much fun that I only stopped to take the camera out for the nicer ones.
Don't have any more travel planned for a while. Love this river!
