Here's proud angler Jessica Walton with her new state record channel cat from Aurora Res., this week ~~ 43.6 lbs and 40.5" long. What a pig! And what a happy young lady!!

OMG. What a beautiful fish. With a name like catfish_al, what else was I to say. The bar just keeps going up and up.

Jurassic Pond strikes again...

Great job Jessica!!!...incredible fish...next stop is 50 pounds...

I still shudder to think what is Pueblo...size of lake...shad...longer growing season...more places to hide...yep there is a 50 in Ptown...

Call it what you want, but she got the job done. I read all the time on here and elsewhere guys lamenting a big fish that broke off when their drags weren't properly adjusted.

No such problem with this young lady. So it certainly isn't all "dumb luck".
