Good lookin' out! I took my kid to lake Mac today. We skunked hard at Martin bay. Fished from 6 am till 9, then we put on the trunks and swam around till noon. Decided to fly west on 80, dropped south and fished jumbo. I should have gone there from the get go. Kept getting smallies and crappies. Was a blast to fish for sure. So much of a blast... That I'm gonna go back next weekend with the lady friend and fish.

I used small white twisters on the rocks. Fished from 1 to 2:30. Caught 5 crappies, 6 smallies and lost many more.

sorry dudes, better me than the sploiters though. i guess i'll stick to my job of being the hire on guide at officers gulch and the copper mtn ponds.


if youre willing to drive 2+ hours and fish in miserable heat, deal with rattlesnakes, etc... you deserve success.
