I've been hoping to catch my first tiger muskie this year and have been thinking of going to Evergreen this Wednesday. I'm a complete novice when it comes to muskie and pike fishing. Do you guys think its worth the trip and if so, whats the best way to catch a tiger muskie?

definetly worth the trip. I haven't been able to make it up there yet but know that lake is full of them. They just stocked 200 19-22inchers in there last month and there are still plenty of big ones as well. Muskies Inc just had this months meeting/fishing trip up there last tuesday. According to the Colorado chapter president, he recommends using anything that resembles a trout or sucker. For the little guys try using kastmasters and remember to use a steel leader. They planted them in the lake right across from the boathouse. Try around the wildlife habitat area too. Good Luck
