Anyone of you guys ever seen or caught the hybrid Tiger Trout here in Colorado? There is Tiger Trout in the Colorado State records but was from a unnamed pond and I've never heard of them being in any other body of water. There a cross between a brown and brook so i guess they might be in a body of water where both species are present, but they're probrobly very rare. I was just curious and any additional info will be appriciated.  ;D

Heres a pic to help

Couldnt cross a rainbow and brook trout even if you tried afterall Brook Trout arent even trout they are chars along with lake trout, browns, and artic char. In the trout group I believe you have rainbows, cutthroats, golden and a few more obscure species such as apache trout down in arizona.

I know a private 14 acre lake in Colorado that has these trout.
My guess is that the cost and limited hatcheries for this hybrid pretty much keeps this exclusive to private waters.
