Trade for Inverter Generator

I am looking for an inverter generator to power my CPAP while I'm in hunting camp for 12 days. Will trade what I have advertised in these forums for one. You can see the exact details of what I have for sale by looking at my posts in Buy and Sell, but a quick recap of what I would trade is this:

Ice fishing gear (3 rod/reel combos, jigs, accessories) asking $130
Parkerized British .303 with scope mount + 10-round magazine asking $260
Redington Crosswater 5 wt 4-pc 9 foot fly rod and reel combo with case. Comes with Umpqua medium fly box and 92 flies + many accessories asking $225

So, if you're interested in trading, let me know what you have for an inverter generator.

Thanks!

I just use a regular car type or deep cycle battery, no humidification, goes for a very long time. Either run a cheap harbor freight inverter, or just run it as 12 volt, as most cpaps are.then charge with normal gen during the day.

Which machine you got? You don't need an inverter generator, unless you have to have humidification, and even then you don't.
Not sure where you are at, but some of the rental places will rent you one pretty inexpensive. Arvada Rentals rents Hondas.

Hope you find what you are looking for.

ResMed S9 with humidifier; will look into your suggestions. Probably my best investment will be a noise cancelling headset to drown out my hunting partner's snoring!

Or a pillow. ;}

I was thinking about that when I went out scouting with him...when he wasn't snoring, an owl was screeching across the lake...still haven't figure out which one was worse!
Muni, let me know if you're unsuccessful in finding an inverter/generator. I have a Honda EU2000 I would be willing to loan you for your trip.

Reeltime, that's a generous offer and thanks for it. But, I would not want to just borrow anyone's equipment. If I have to, I will go without my CPAP...I lived a long time without one while having severe apnea, so I don't think I will die, and if I do, wife will get a handsome payout! ;)
I really appreciate the offer though; that is real kind of you.

I understand. Offer stands though. Cpaps are pretty important, especially at high altitude. I'm scouting GMU 18/181 wednesday. Where you hunting this year?

GMU 25/26, second rifle in the Flat Tops Wilderness area...camping at 10,000 feet, hunting at 12,000. See if my old, fat body can take it ;) . Was out scouting from 22 - 24 August, and body held up well. What season are you hunting?
1st Rifle, Cow Elk. Hunted same area last year for doe, haven't hunted it for Elk.
Reeltime, you're hunting around Hot Sulphur Springs then? I've done 2nd season rifle for deer there the last 3 years. Trying a new area this year with a new hunting partner who's coming off having a kneecap replacement surgery earlier this year. Will miss hunting in that area, or as I usually call it, camping!
Yes, we have a house to use in Grand Lake so that area is perfect except for the deadfall.

Yeah, there is a ton of beetle kill in that area. Makes walking tough at times. Good luck to you in filling your tag.

I know, it's crazy. On the bright side, we have a view of the lake now from the house and all the firewood we could ever burn.

Good luck to you as well.
My dad has the same machine, he just goes without the humidification, and hooks a harbor freight inverter to a 12 battery. Works fine. Most of the CPAPs are 12 volt to begin with anyway. Use the transformer that it came with to plug into the inverter. You don't need a modified sine wave or any of that. The transformer it comes with will convert the 120v from the inverter to 12 for the machine, or buy this:

You can use humidity, will just need to recharge the battery more often. Without humidity probably get a whole week without recharging.
