In case anyone else had the same idea, figured I would pass it on so you don't waste your time. Tried to head up to Yankee Doodle Lake yesterday to find a little ice to fish. Well, I did find ice, but it was all over the road up there once you got about 3 miles up the Moffat Road...I mean completely covered. Not sure if you got past that section what it would be like, but I decided it wasn't worth risking for the next 6 or 7 miles to get up there so turned around and went flyfishing over on Boulder Creek.

Hopefully the cold front coming in next week will get some of the lakes going.
