Yes salted baits will be considered scented under the new rule.fishinguitars said:..I also wonder if the consider salted baits scented ?
origanly lures and flies were a whay to decieve fish thru site and sound pretty much the lure or fly had to be presented in a way that made it look natural or to trigger a strike thru vissual and auditory stimulation comercialy available scent started out being used to hide or mask the human scent or gass and oil suntan loation but now scents have evolved you can get soft plastic baits that not only look and move like a crawfish but smell and taste like them too one benifit to the enviroment with the new scented bait is that many of them dissolve when lost in the water unlike the old plastic worms that will just sit there till some future archeaologist digs them out of the mudmeandmydog said:i am not real up to speed with scents i use them but what are they made from. are the natural or some concocksion made in a lab. growing up I learned to put garlic salt on my power bait if it was a slow day and it always worked(put on your bait that you are using not in the bottle it will dry up harder than a rock)i guess i just dont understand how a scent is any more a bbait than an imatation minnow
