I am thinking of trying to make my own tungsten putty as I can get a pound of powder for 80 bucks which would be about 10 lifetimes worth and beats the hell out of the 260 I would pay for a pound of pre made Loon stuff. I am stuck on what a good polymer clay/binding agent would be though. Anyone tried this before or maybe just have some random thoughts? Any help would he greatly appreciated!

Tight lines all!

Have not tried it before. I would start using JB Weld or any other 2 part epoxy (you probably have some at home already). Mix it up and add some powder. If you can get it to stay on a hook you have a custom unpainted tungsten jig! 8)
