Dang...not even ice on Twin?? What is it with this year anyway...

Here is another, same general area but unrelated, question: can you ice fish Clear Creek Reservoir?

If you're talking by Buena Vista the answer is "Yes" if it has good ice. ;D

According to another Colorado fishing site, clear creek(Near BV) has a good lid.

Twin has that power plant, and I've never seen it freeze near the plant... I do know last year I was on the ice Jan 11th or 12th at twin with 12" of ice.

Clear Creek is small and shallow. Of course it will freeze earlier.
That was a devil of a post Don 6666 >:D
Ha ha. Krazluck pointed that out to me in a PM. Guess I'll have to delete a couple to keep it that way.

Actually, I am not very familiar with Clear Creek...I have only drove by it (I believe) once? But the two lakes (or considering it is "Twin Lakes" so three) are in relative distance to each other. With Twin being in an area that is colder, and the fact that the power plant does not encompass the entirety of both lakes...you could gather that there would at least be some ice, somewhere, on one of the two lakes (even considering they are much deeper), if Clear Creek is completely frozen with a good lid.
