Started out Sunday morning at McCall, fished for 3 hours nothing (well no bass) the wife and kids were catching sunfish add prech, and a one eye frog. On the way home stopped at Joshs pond, Nothing. Today fished spratt for an hour and half nothing. You would think a lake named after me I could catch somethig (Scott Pratt lol). I really like the name of that place for some reason. Just got back for Joshs pond. 1 small bass, the wife and kids were catching, cats and blue gills the hole time we were there. Not sure where we're going to try next.

Whats the trick to catching bass at spratt I've tried everything.

I've been hammering keeper bass on wave worms fished on cool, cloudy days or right before sunset (I can't wait until the fall and the cooler weather, when the bass will be more active throughout the day). If you can keep the worm above the weeds and keep the weeds from covering the worm, you'll catch bass.,

Bass4Life-Don't be too hard on yourself ::)-August can be a tough month if your not fishing early or late. In another month or so, they will magically reappear. The biggest problem I think is the bass have alot of forage to chose from.
