Read that this model is made exclusively for Walmart.

Anyone use this rod (one piece, 4'6" ultra light) for icing? Going to try it for vertical jigging from the float tube. Seems very durable with a fast action - soft 6" tip, but hefty for the bottom 4 feet.

Not cheap, $40 with tax.

Soft rods suck, no smart arse comments lol. For me I want hard core graphite in medium to heavy to feel the bite and get a solid hookset.

X2 only ugly sticks I still use are for trolling. They may also get notched off the list eventually as well. It's annoying watching a big fish rip 20 feet of line off and not get hooked.
